Me: Well, we don't really have princesses here in the Philippines. [At least not one that she has in mind, i.e., the Disney kind.] You know why? Coz we have a President.
Kaitlin: But I can be the first, right?
Me: Errr, yeaaaaaahhh... but you have to study hard.
Kaitlin: But why?
Me: Coz princesses live in castles, and I can't afford one. If you want to be the first princess of the Philippines, you have to study hard, then get a really good job, earn lots of money... Then you can afford a castle!
Kaitlin: Oh. Right.
Me: So study hard, okay? :)
Kaitlin: Yeah, but you said we don't really have princesses here naman, diba? (Shrugs, gives a small smile, and walks out.)
